Funny how the FCA-US plants that have to "align production with demand" are the ones that were supposed to be building new Chrysler models by now.

Belvidere: Cherokee based, Chrysler branded Journey replacement

Windsor: Pacifica based large SUV - OR - smaller-than-Pacifica minivan (Portal)

Brampton: Replacement for Chrysler 300 (and Dodge Charger and Challenger)

Well hopefully one of these days after the ndas expire the truth will come out. We will find out what products were intended to go there and why and when they were all cancelled.

The big question is whether the 2023 Cherokee is small wide or CUSW, and if future PSA vehicles will adopt small wide.

The FCA+PSA merger synergies don't add up if you have two unique platforms in A/B/C segment vehicles. You need one global platform for those segments. D/E you can get away with more variation because those size vehicles are more expensive/pay for themselves.

What platform will A/B/C segment platform be going forward for FCA+PSA?

Sad to say it, but after being a lifelong Mopar guy I,m losing my faith. There is so little left of the company that I worked at for 32years. Bob Eaton and his merger of equals worked very well for him but led to the destruction of Chrysler, now we are just another world car manufacturer.

As with any "merger" the home product usually survives. But in this case since AWD is involved it's possible the FCA platform may get the nod.

It's not like Fiat really had product or platforms suitable for the US market when Fiat and Chrysler were combined (without either low sales or extensive reworking - sometimes both).
So any dismal of PSA product and platforms now is certainly premature.
