FCA hit the Houston Auto Show in force, with Camp Jeep® and the world debut of the 2019 Ram Laramie Longhorn. Giving the press a full breakfast, complete with a taco bar and Ram-shaped paperweights, the company showed its dedication to the Texas media — and for good reason. The state accounts for a huge proportion of pickup sales, and Ram intends to get a bigger share of the pie.
No other manufacturer had a major reveal, though GM brought its 2019 pickups — fresh from an unveiling one day before the Detroit auto show.
The Houston Auto Show, which bills itself as the largest auto show of the South, will be open daily through January 28, 2018, at the NRG Center in Houston. Tickets are $12 for adults, and $5 for children 6-12 years old. It’s open till 9:30 pm on Saturday and to 7 pm on Sunday.
