Chrysler will help terminated dealers with inventoryby Bill Cawthon on June 5, 2009 at 7:08 pm EST Steve Landry, Chrysler’s executive vice president of North American sales and service, announced the automaker will guarantee to redistribute the new vehicles in the inventories of the 789 dealers whose franchises were terminated. Of the 42,000 vehicles in the dealers inventories on May 15, 16,000 have been sold and 26,000 have been assigned for redistribution. Landry said only about 400 vehicles remain to be transferred. According to Landry, the dealers will “be made whole” except for a $350 per vehicle for destination charges. Share me!RedditFacebookTwitterMorePrintTumblrLinkedInGoogle
