John G. Dallafior passes on

Chrysler mechanic and engineer John G. Dallafior, who retired from Chrysler in 1989 and returned as a consultant from 2002 to 2008, has died at the age of 79 in Madison Heights, Michigan.

John was a veteran of the Air Force in Korea, a member and officer of Madison Heights V.F.W. Post 9507, and a 50 year member of Good Shepherd Church – Royal Oak, where John served on many boards and committees at the church. Visitation will be today from 3 to 9 p.m. at Edward Swanson & Son Funeral Home, 30351 Dequindre (1 Blk. S. of 13 Mile Rd.) Madison Heights, Michigan. Additional Visitation tomorrow (Wednesday) 10 a.m. until time of funeral 11 a.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 814 N. Campbell, Royal Oak, MI.
