Fiat supplying new Chrysler CIO

Chrysler, which will be engineering its own vehicles using a mix of Fiat and Chrysler platforms and executives, has announced the replacement of Jan Bertsch, who is leaving the company on November 30, with two executives, a CIO and a treasurer (both will be vice presidents). Scott Sandschafer, the new CIO, hails from Case New Holland, a Fiat acquisition; he will report direct to Sergio Marchionne starting December 1. Walter P. Bodden, Jr., the new treasurer, started with Chrysler in 1984, and is currently the chief investment officer; he will be reporting to the CFO.
