Chrysler captures Toledo

by David Zatz on

According to Larry Vellequette of the Toledo Blade, Toledo was the largest city in the United States to favor Chrysler cars and trucks over all competitors in 2009. While Dodge was only the second best selling brand, Chrysler as a whole sold 5,066 vehicles locally, beating GM with 4,420 and Ford with 4,232. Chrysler runs four plants in the region, and had 22% of the local market in 2009, versus 9% nationally.

David Zatz founded Allpar in 1998 (based on a site he had begun in 1993-94), after years of writing reviews for retail trades.
