Allpar, Plymouth featured on CNN

by David Zatz on

A 450,000 mile Plymouth from Allpar’s 200,000 Mile Club has been featured on CNN’s web site. Marc Borza and his 1967 Satellite led the story, which included cars from several manufacturers. Mopar was represented by an Allpar member’s minivan, CNN readers with a Neon and Jeep, and Dan Edelman’s million mile Dodge Ram truck; cars from General Motors, Toyota, and Honda were also featured, though with fewer miles. The story, by senior staff writer Peter Valdes-Dapena, drew not only from Allpar but from CNN’s own investigation.

David Zatz founded Allpar in 1998 (based on a site he had begun in 1993-94), after years of writing reviews for retail trades. He has been quoted by the New York Times, the Daily Telegraph, the Detroit News, and USA Today. Before making Allpar a full-time career, he was a consultant in organizational psychology.
