New Dodge Durango spy shots; name finalized?

by David Zatz on

Durango in mirror

Tim Walsh caught the upcoming Dodge Durango on the highway, with good side and rear-view-mirror shots; it’s still in camouflage though an early version was photographed via cameraphone earlier. For more photos, see our 2012 Dodge Durango page.

The next generation Durango (still possibly to be named Magnum) is based on the Jeep Grand Cherokee, but has a longer wheelbase to support three rows of seats; it will presumably be tuned without the sacrifices made to retain offroad potential.

Update: This thread on dealershipforum shows that Dodge Durango is apparently the name that has been chosen.
