Dodge announces truck changes

Dodge has officially announced changes to the 2011 trucks which Allpar reported weeks ago.

For all Ram pickups:

  • Ram Outdoorsman replaces TRX in a model aimed at outdoorsmen, campers, and boaters
  • New factory spray-in bedliner available on all models
  • New colors: Hunter Green Pearl Coat, Deep Cherry Red Crystal Pearl, Light Graystone
  • New nav system

    For Ram 1500:

    • Power folding mirrors
    • Mineral Gray Metallic color
    • Increased Gross Combined Weight Rating (GCWR)
    • Active on-demand transfer case now standard on Big Horn, Sport and Laramie 4X4 models
    • New Garmin Navigation System

    For Ram 2500 and 3500 pickups:

    • New wheel options and interior colors
    • Tire pressure monitoring standard
    • Gross weight rating increased to 22,000 lb
