2011 Challenger 392 Update

Dodge will produce 1,100 Special Edition Challengers with the 392 HEMI Engine. The introduction date is November 29, 2010.

The special Challengers will be offered in two color packages: white with dual, full-length blue body stripes or blue with white stripes. Other exterior special features include: 392 HEMI fender badge, Mopar decal, body color accent grille, quad exhaust tips and forged SRT aluminum wheels with painted pockets.

Inside will be special white leather seats with blue inserts and accent stitching and a silver-brushed center stack. A commemorative, serial-numbered plaque will be affixed to the dashboard.To get buyers started on accessorizing, a $500.00 Mopar gift certificate will accompany each sale.

Bill Cawthon grew up in the auto industry in the 1950s. His Dad worked for Chrysler and Bill spent a number of Saturdays down on the plant floor at Dodge Main in Hamtramck. Bill is also the U.S. market correspondent for just-auto.com, a British auto industry publication, and a member of the Texas Auto Writers Association, which has named the Jeep Grand Cherokee the “SUV of Texas” several times and named the Ram 1500 as the “Truck of Texas” two years running.
