John Lennon’s Chrysler being auctioned

by David Zatz on

John Lennon's Chrysler

Chrysler reported that John Lennon’s 1972 Chrysler Town & Country wagon is being auctioned by Braswell Galleries. It was sold in 1980 due to bald tires and the need for new brake pads; Lennon’s personal assistant convinced Yoko Ono to go with a Mercedes 300 instead. Lennon himself was quoted as saying he liked the car and had an emotional attachment to it.
