Lancia Flavia, Thema: Chrysler 200, 300

by David Zatz on

Lancia Thema

Lancia will be launching two new cars, both larger than its current flagship: the Lancia Flavia (based on the Chrysler 200) and Thema (based on the 300). These were predicted by Dan Minick for Allpar last year.

Both are to be refitted with diesel engines, a Fiat diesel for the 200 and possibly a VM 3.0 V6 diesel for the 300; manual transmissions are also planned. The Lancia Thema is expected to go on sale in late 2011; the Chrysler Voyager will be launched as the Lancia Voyager in the same period. The Flavia is expected in early 2012, giving it a fairly short lifespan before its replacement appears.
