by David Zatz on

Chrysler Canada continued its growth with February 2011 sales up 8% over February 2010, the company’s fifteenth consecutive month of year-over-year sales increases. Total sales were 15,238 for the month.

Chrysler Canada CEO Reid Bigland credited Canada’s “newest showroom” and “one of Canada’s most fuel-efficiency lineups.”

Chrysler Canada remains the only manufacturer to have three of the top 10 selling nameplates in February with Dodge Grand Caravan, Ram Pickup and Dodge Journey. The Grand Caravan and Ram are the #2 and #3 top selling vehicles in Canada, year to date.

Ram truck sales records were shattered, as they soared 27% over the record and 43% over February 2010. Dodge Grand Caravan remains Canada’s best-selling minivan with sales up 14% over the record.

Dodge Journey remains Canada’s best-selling crossover among more than 30 nameplates, with sales up 63% from its previous sales record.

The Jeep® Grand Cherokee saw a year-over-year increase of 65%.
