KGP catches SRT

by David Zatz on

SRT8

Glenn Paulina has caught the Chrysler 300C SRT8 prototype making its rounds at the track. Glenn wrote:

Camouflaged at the front and rear, the SRT8’s revised grille mesh, and elements of its more aggressive front and rear fascias can still be made out. A new rear bumper houses beefier dual exhaust tips, which flank a new chrome-rimmed opening. New side sills, massive wheels, and red Brembo brakes round out the visual changes.

We expect the 300C SRT8 to share the Dodge Charger SRT8‘s 6.4-liter Hemi V-8, which would mean 465 bhp and 465 lb-ft of torque. Zero-to-sixty times could hover at, or below the five-second mark, with quarter-mile times in the 12s. Top speed could reach a formidable 175 mph.
