Dodge Charger Daytona set for January?

by David Zatz on

According to reliable source oh2o, the Dodge Charger Daytona will be brought back for a mid January launch, just before the races at Daytona.

While the original Dodge Charger Daytona was a wind-tunnel-tuned supercar capable of 160-180 mph as delivered, with aerodynamic efficiency not matched by many modern cars, that iteration was not made for long. A Charger Daytona graphics and trim package was later added for the “Cordoba-clone” Chargers, and, finally, a front wheel drive Dodge Daytona (no “Charger”) sports car was sold with varying success in the 1980s and early 1990s. The name was brought back for a Dodge Charger R/T variant after the 2006 rebirth of the Charger.
