CNG Ram ready for retail

by David Zatz on

Friendly source JRS200x wrote that the Ram 2500 with natural-gas-burning (CNG) Hemi will be available for retail orders, but only from dealers who complete training courses on it. The truck can run off CNG or regular gasoline; its existence was first revealed on allpar last year. Pricing has not yet been released, and the truck will have a limited production run. It is the only domestic pickup to have its CNG system engineered and built in at the factory, rather than being modified after production. [Ram CNG test drive and engineer interview]
