New Mopar items announcement at SEMA

Mopar will announce new performance and customization items at the SEMA Show later today.

Engine performance calibration
Arrow Racing Engines in Auburn Hills, Michigan, and Arrington Engines in Martinsville, Virginia, will be supplying engine performance calibrations. Mopar has reviewed their facilities and determined the companies have the appropriate tooling and software to make the performance calibrations for 2011-2013 Chrysler Group vehicles. Additional companies will be announced at a later date.

5.7-liter Street Spec HEMI crate engine
An emissions-compliant 5.7-liter HEMI crate engine will be made available for 1995 and older vehicles. It can be mated to automatic and manual transmissions and will not include the production multi-displacement system (MDS).

The engine’s MSRP is $6,800 (part #77070065) and comes with a two-year/24,000-mile limited warranty.

The preliminary parts list includes:


  • 5.7-liter HEMI engine (non-MDS)
  • 375 horsepower, 400 lb.-ft. torque
  • Exhaust manifolds
  • Engine wire harness

Performance and emission control

  • Engine control module
  • 2 upstream oxygen sensors
  • 2 downstream oxygen sensors
  • Electronic accelerator pedal
  • EVAP canister


  • 2 catalytic converters
  • Oxygen sensor-mounting bosses


  • Instruction manual
  • Emission certification label
  • Executive Order (in process)

Jeep Performance Parts

Mopar and Jeep will work together to bring Jeep Performance Parts. The line will include hardcore Jeep parts such as axles, lift kits, bumpers, winches, skid plates, and suspension components, to enhance off-road performance.

Wrangler 6.4-liter and 5.7-liter Hemi conversion kits

Mopar has created a 6.4-liter V8 HEMI conversion kit for 2007-2011 Jeep Wranglers. MSRP is $18,599 (part #P5156162). The engine kit, producing about 470 horsepower and 470 lb.-ft. torque, will mate to W5A580 five-speed automatic transmissions and will soon mate with the six-speed manual.

A 5.7-liter HEMI conversion kit for 2007-2011 Wranglers will cost $15,599 (part #P5156213). It outputs about 375 hp and 400 lb.-ft. torque.

FIAT® Custom Shop
The FIAT Custom Shop will have Genuine FIAT Parts by Mopar. Fiat 500 customers can order quality-tested accessory packages that will meet warranty requirements. Select exterior and interior options will be available also. Interior packages will include Katzkin seating and trim packages with a variety of leather, suedes, colors, two-tone combinations, and piping, stitch, and embroidery options.

Roof racks, graphics, carriers, cat-back exhausts, brake kits, and suspension parts will also be available.

Added packages can be financed with monthly payments.
