2014 Grand Cherokee leaked

by David Zatz on has taken the wraps off the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee, revealing few surprises for Allpar readers, but many gains. Numerous systems have been tweaked, taking advantage of a new, faster electronics architecture and other technologies. All Grand Cherokees now come with the seven-inch TFT customizable gauge cluster (in addition to conventional gauges).

The leak at the Volkswagen forum site was quickly picked up by Jalopnik.

2014 Grand Cherokee Overland

As predicted, buyers can get a VM 3-liter “EcoDiesel” engine good for best-in-class 21 mpg city, 30 mpg highway, and 420 lb-ft of torque; it and the carryover V6 and V8 engines are all connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission, scooting past Mercedes ML’s seven-speed.
