PR firm buys Chrysler Communications

by David Zatz on

c-comCampaignSingapore reported that Fulford Public Relations has acquired Chrysler Communications in this article. The story, datelined Singapore, notes that all Chrysler employees will move to Fulford PR, which will be run by Chrysler Communications founder Marina Matthews, giving the combined agency 21 full time staff members.

Chrysler Communications appears to be a small, local firm, with clients listed as Servcorp and restaurants. Despite the similar names, Singapore’s Chrysler Communications has no relationship with the department of Chrysler Group that goes by the same name.

The name “Chrysler,” in the sense of the American automaker, is an Americanization of Walter P. Chrysler’s family name, Kreissler; however, it is a popular name across the United States. (Thanks, “Mopar Bob” Gardetto.)
