Greasable Jeep/Ram U-joints

by David Zatz on

axle

Mopar announced its new line of greasable U-joints for Jeeps and Ram trucks today. The parts, which are exciting to those who need them, are “competitively priced” and use cold-formed,  case hardened bearing cups. The flush lube fitting is in the bearing cup of the wheel axle joints, whicih also use a Microshield coating to protect against rust. Radial grease grooves in the bottom of the bearing cups ensure even distribution, and, coupled with an anti-drainback feature, prevents dry start-ups.

The original-equipment quality needle bearings, snap rings, and steel forgings are made in the United States.
