2014: Big Viper year?

by David Zatz on

Viper

According to reliable source oh2o, the 2014 SRT Viper will start production on July 2013, and run for one full calendar year; planned production, he wrote, is 3,000 cars, much higher than their usual annual production, helping to make up for lost 2011 and 2012 sales.

So far there is no word on what changes will be made from model year 2013 to 2014; it is possible that the 2014s will be almost entirely carryovers.

David Zatz founded Allpar in 1998 (based on a site he had begun in 1993-94), after years of writing reviews for retail trades. He has been quoted by the New York Times, the Daily Telegraph, the Detroit News, and USA Today. Before making Allpar a full-time career, he was a consultant in organizational psychology.
