2014 Fiat 500 addresses seat complaints

by David Zatz on

The North American version of the 2014 Fiat 500, modified and built by Chrysler, has three clearly visible changes from the 2013, all involving the front passenger seat. The seat is now 25 mm (around one inch) lower, increasing passenger headroom; it has its own armrest (earlier restricted to the driver’s seat); and has seat memory. In the two-door car, a mechanical seat memory “remembers” the front seat’s incline and fore/aft position after it’s moved forward to allow the rear seats to be used.

These changes apply to 500/500 Turbo and 500c (convertible).  Other changes include a new white accent option on Sport, new gray and black colors, and new wheel options for Sport and Turbo.  (Thanks, RamMan.)
