Jeep confirms Polar

by David Zatz on

Jeep has confirmed the sale of the new Wrangler Polar model in the United States. A four-door Wrangler Unlimited based on the Sahara model, it will be sold in silver, white, and a new Hydro Blue paint color.  The “Polar” badge shows the 78° S and 106° E coordinates of Vostok, Antarctica, where the severest temperature in the world was recorded at -89.2° C (-128.56° F). The US cost for the Polar group, coded as package 24P, is $4,400 on top of the $32,790 list price (with destination) of the four-door Sahara 4×4.  Polars have started to show up at U.S. dealers. Allpar reported on the Polar’s U.S. sale, with pricing, on October 20.
