Viaggio hatch caught

by David Zatz on

viaggioCarNewsChina has caught a spy shot of the Dodge Dart-based Fiat Viaggio running around in disguise in China. The car is expected to be shown in November, and sold locally in early 2014.

The Fiat Viaggio is essentially similar to Dodge Dart, but with a more cost-effective suspension system and a different front fascia. The Viaggio itself, made in China at a joint venture plant, was sold starting in September 2012, and has a price of around $17,220 – $25,134, according to the web site.

A Fiat Viaggio wagon could presage a hatchback version of the Dodge Dart, since the changes to the body would probably be the same for both cars.  Thanks, Jared Kindestin.
