Scat Pack, Stage Kits return

by David Zatz on

In honor of the 45th anniversary of the Dodge “Scat Pack Club,” Mopar launched new Scat Package performance kits for the 2014 Dodge Challenger, Charger, and Dart, and announced the creation of a web site for car owners to share their modifications and accomplishments.

Three stages of Scat Packages will be available for the 2014 Dodge Challenger, Charger and Dart, at a “cost-effective price,” including numbered hard badges showing their stage. These are slated to be available in Spring 2014. The Hemi kits include special engine calibrations at each level, cold air intakes and cat-back exhausts, a performance cam for Stage 2, and headers with polished/ported heads for stage 3. For the Dart, there is a cold air intake, short-throw shifter, and performance brake kit; for stage 2, cat-back exhaust and revised computer calibration requiring premium gas; and for stage 3, a big-brake kit, adjustable suspension, and upgraded sway bars.

Three concept cars were also shown (above) in special paint schemes. All the Scat Packages will include hard logos. See our “Return of the Scat Pack” page for photos of the engines, badges, and more photos of the cars.
