Dodge anniversary gear

by David Zatz on

Dodge 100th anniversary gearDodge is selling a new line of merchandise in honor of the 100th anniversary of Dodge Brothers’ founding, at www.Life.Dodge.com.  The collection has both custom and vintage Dodge graphics, with both retro designs and a 100th anniversary logo.

Over 30 new items include apparel, a leather jacket and watch (available early next year), hats, tumblers, mugs, journals, key fobs, decals, and pens. A new book that chronicles the first 100 years of the Dodge Brand is available for pre-order on Amazon.com. More items will be added leading up to the brand’s 100th anniversary in July 2014.

John and Horace Dodge developed America’s first mass-produced all-steel-bodied cars in 1914 and set a new record for the most first-model-year automobiles ever produced (45,033 cars).

Dodge is also selling special editions of the Charger and Challenger, to arrive at dealerships in the first quarter of 2014.  These share a new “High Octane” red pearl coat paint, new 20-inch aluminum wheels with granite crystal pockets, fender and seat badging, a limited-edition owner’s kit, and a book that celebrates 100 years of Dodge heritage.
