First 300 spy shot?

by David Zatz on

2015 chrysler 300C

With all the attention given to the 2015 Dodge Challenger spy shots that have surfaced over the last few months, many may have forgotten that the Chrysler 300 and Dodge Charger are also up for redesign in calendar-year 2014.  This may be the first “spy shot” to show the mules — or perhaps the actual cars — in camouflage.

The changes to the senior Chrysler and the Charger are unlikely to be extensive. Most observers believe the cars will get eight-speed automatics for their V8 models, the new safety and parking systems given to the 200 and Cherokee, upgraded UConnect systems, and moderately updated interiors. The 300’s LED running lights are likely to be updated with light pipes, now that separate LED bulbs are becoming passé; and the grilles and tail-lights will likely be restyled somewhat.
