Dodge tops on FastCompany list

by David Zatz on

In a rather odd article, FastCompany managed to place Dodge as the 11th most innovative company in the world, though Dodge is not, technically, a company.

The article focused mainly on marketing rather than technology. The top company on the list was Google, followed by Bloomberg; there were few manufacturers, though Nike made the cut. Mentioned were the recently renewed series Defiance, the Ron Burgundy ads and Chrysler’s reaction to Will Ferrell saying the Dodge was “terrible” on television, Fast & Furious, and an unpaid spot in Archer.

Tesla was at #20, tied with WME, Box, and T-Mobile; no other major automakers made the top 50.  Chrysler has also done its share of technical innovation.  Forum discussion • FastCompany article • Thanks, DCX300C.
