Marchionne staying at FCA

by David Zatz on

Sergio Marchionne small 2011

Last night, FCA CEO Sergio Marchionne affirmed that he would stay in his position through at least the end of the five year plan period, in 2018.

The Fiat and Chrysler leader, who is currently 61 years old, appears to have the full support of board chairman and major shareholder John Elkann. Mr. Marchionne took over operations at Chrysler in 2009, without abandoning control of Fiat.
