SRT’s Hellcat webchat

by David Zatz on

2015 Dodge Challenger SRT with Hellcat engine

Chrysler’s official blog is hosting a webchat to discuss the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT, with the 392 and the new Hellcat supercharged v8 engine, at 11 am today. Click here to tune in and/or visit our newly updated Challenger SRT8 and Hellcat coverage.

Present for the chat are Tim Kuniskis, CEO of Dodge; Chris Cowland, Advanced and SRT Powertrain director; Russ Ruedisueli, Head of SRT and Motorsports Engineering;  Mark Trostle, Head of SRT Design; and Ryan Nagode, SRT interior design chief.

Mr. Cowland put the torque number at “over 575 lb-ft,” which provides plenty of overhead for the ZF transmission (rated at 900 Nm).
