Chrysler may want you

by David Zatz on

Chrysler is looking for a few good men and women — or perhaps a few hundred.

In manufacturing, there are openings for electrical techs, millwrights, tool and die makers, and machine repairmen in Kokomo, Belvidere, Toledo, and Detroit; and for pipefitters in Belvidere, Kokomo, and Detroit. Many management jobs are open in operations in various locations, and engineers are needed in Auburn Hills, Kokomo, Detroit, Perrysburg (Ohio), Sterling Heights, Trenton, and Warren… mainly, in Auburn Hills. There are openings in supply train management, maintenance, safety… even summer vacation replacements.

Applications to work in the factories in production were accepted briefly, but the positions were filled almost immediately.

There are currently 110 jobs open in product design and (non-manufacturing) engineering, and five co-op and internships available for students.
