New head of Chrysler Product Planning

benjamin-winterBen Winter is now Chrysler-NAFTA Head of Product Planning, responsible for research and planning of all future vehicles in North America; as part of this move, he is now part of the Chrysler Group Leadership Team.

Mr. Winter was promoted up from Vice President of Vehicle Engineering, after joining Chrysler in 2008 as chief engineer of minivans. He started out at Ford in 1985 as a senior engineer, and graduated from the University of Michigan with a doctorate in metallurgical engineering and masters degrees in business and metallurgical engineering; his undergraduate degree is from the University of Missouri.
