Full 2015 Challenger pricing

by David Zatz on

2015 Challenger List Price
SXT (V6) $27,990
SXT Plus $30,990
R/T (Hemi) $32,490
R/T Plus $35,490
Scat Pack (392 Hemi) $38,490
SRT 392 $45,990
SRT Hellcat $58,890

Dodge has set prices for the full 2015 Dodge Challenger range now, from SXT to Hellcat, but there are some caveats.

First, the 392 (6.4 liter) Hemi cars (Scat Pack, SRT 392) with manual transmission have an additional gas guzzler tax of $1,000. There is no gas guzzler tax with the automatic.

The thirsty 707-hp Hellcat has a gas-guzzler tax of $1,700 with the automatic, $2,100 with the manual.

These list prices include the destination charge, which is $995 to the continental United States; Hawaiians must add $50.

The 2015 Dodge Challenger SXT lists for $500 more than the 2014, but includes the eight-speed (boosting gas mileage and acceleration alike), the seven-inch customizable gauge cluster, dual-zone automatic climate control, LED tail lights and halo lights, and a sport-mode transmission.

The Scat Pack provides an 8% fuel economy increase with the automatic, a $1,400 option which, when one tosses in the gas tax, becomes just a $400 option. Dodge claims a “low four second” 0-60 time for the Scat Pack, which replaces the old SRT Core.  Daniel Bennet has written about the differences between the Scat Pack and Challenger SRT 392.
