Testing the 2015 Challengers

by David Zatz on

Car buffs have probably noted that nearly every car publication has now published or posted its experiences with the 707 horsepower Dodge Challenger Hellcat. Allpar’s Daniel Bennett has posted his own, along with a description of one of the events that gave writers their first-hand knowledge of the new cars. Mr. Bennett, already an SRT8 owner, has also written about the 2015 Challenger SRT 392, R/T, and SXT, which he took out on the road or the track.

He has written three articles on the experience:

  • Testing 2015 Challengers: wringing out the SRT 392 and SRT Hellcat on the road and track; and impressions of the 2015 Challenger SXT and R/T.
  • Hellcat on the Track: more specifics on what it’s like to take the 707-hp muscle car around Portland’s raceway.
  • The Media Experience: this was Mr. Bennett’s first major media event, and he describes it from his own perspective.

David Zatz founded Allpar in 1998 (based on a site he had begun in 1993-94), after years of writing reviews for retail trades. He has been quoted by the New York Times, the Daily Telegraph, the Detroit News, and USA Today. Before making Allpar a full-time career, he was a consultant in organizational psychology.
