First Hellcat: $825,000

by David Zatz on

The first Hellcat off the production line was auctioned for charity by Barrett-Jackson, to collector Rick Hendrick. The car, painted Stryker Red, brought in $825,000, which is over ten times its list price — and over five times the price of the last “Limited Edition” 2015 Ford Mustang (1,964 were made) and the third 2014 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28.

Challenger Hellcat #1 is the only Dodge other than a Viper to be painted in Stryker Red. The money will go to the Opportunity Village Foundation.
