Chrysler, Fiat launches confirmed

by David Zatz on

Chrysler’s social media outlets have confirmed two launches for this month: the Chrysler brand on November 19, and the Fiat brand on November 20.

While the Fiat launch could be practically anything (an electric 500L,  CNG power, the 500X, etc.), the Chrysler launch is almost certainly the 2015 300/300S/300C (and maybe, though probably not, 300C SRT).  This car has been scheduled for production at the end of the year, making the Detroit show in January far too late.

Normally, the Los Angeles show has been used for “green” launches and the Fiat brand, given its relatively small size compared with Detroit, New York, and Chicago.

Chrysler unintentionally let the look of the new 300 slip by including it in the list of optional car icons in its new UConnect systems (see above).  Earlier, Allpar posted that it had heard there will be no SRT version, though a differently-branded 392-powered 300 remains possible.

The 2015 300/300S/300C is expected to be an evolution of the current model, with upgrades similar to those of the 2015 Dodge Charger.
