Chrysler India CEO resigned

by David Zatz on

FCA Jeep India

Comprehensive auto site IndianAutosBlog reported that Nagesh Basavanhalli, managing director and president of Fiat Chrysler India, has left the company. The former chief of Chrysler India Automobiles, now responsible for Fiat and Chrysler’s Chennai Technical Center, took over the leadership role just  last year, in time to see Fiat sales take a beating, despite numerous new launches. Pablo Rosso, current head of Fiat Chrysler in South Korea, will take over in the interim.

David Zatz founded Allpar in 1998 (based on a site he had begun in 1993-94), after years of writing reviews for retail trades. He has been quoted by the New York Times, the Daily Telegraph, the Detroit News, and USA Today. Before making Allpar a full-time career, he was a consultant in organizational psychology. You can reach him by using our contact form (much preferred) or by calling (313) 766-2304
