UConnect adds four upgrades

by David Zatz on

Four new additions to Chrysler’s UConnect Access suite will be launched at the 2015 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. The company is also launching a revised, faster, and “easier to use” UConnect Access smartphone application.

The new services are Vehicle Finder, which shows their car by map, satellite, or hybrid views; and then shows a prompt to “Find Route” (via walk or drive) or sound the horn. Send Destination to Vehicle allows one to send an address directly to the car, including points of interest found through searches.  Monthly Health Report and Health Alert sends emails to owners to tell them about key systems, with links to more information, and can alert owners to problems (e.g. powertrain, fluids, brakes, suspensions, safety systems) by email.

These features will become available in mid-2015 on some 2015 model-year vehicles with a 8.4A or 8.4AN system, registered or with an active Uconnect Access subscription.
