Complete pricing for the 2015 Dodge Charger SRT 392

by Patrick Rall on

We have focused a great deal on the 707 horsepower Hellcat Charger over the past few weeks, but it shouldn’t be forgotten that the 2015 Charger is also offered in the SRT 392 variety.

With 485 horsepower and 475lb-ft of torque, the SRT 392 doesn’t pack the punch of the Hellcat, but with the adaptive suspension setup, the massive Brembo brakes and the sport tuner steering setup, the SRT 392 model has comparable handling to the 707hp Hellcat. When you add in the loaded interior and the unique exterior design, you have a car that offers SRT style and SRT performance, with a much lower price than the Hellcat.

As we have known for some time now, the 2015 Dodge Charger SRT 392 starts at $48,380 with destination, but now that the full configurator for the SRT 392 sedan has arrived on, we have the full, official pricing schedule for all of the features of the 485hp Charger.

The 2015 Dodge Charger SRT 392 is offered in 10 exterior colors with 7 of those colors (B5 Blue, Billet Silver, Bright White, Granite Crystal, Jazz Blue, Pitch Black, TorRed) being standard and the other 3 (Phantom Black, Ivory Pearl, Redline Red) coming with an additional charge of $500. Inside, you have your choice of the standard Alcantara Suede and Nappa Leather in either black or red and black, but if you opt for the $1,795 Laguna Leather Group, you can chose from all black or black and sepia (light brown).

The Charger SRT 392 comes with a long list of standard features, so option packages are limited, but there are a few choices for those who want their 485hp Dodge sedan to be even more high tech and luxurious. As mentioned above, the Laguna Leather Group replaces all of the standard suede and Nappa leather with plush, soft Laguna leather for $1,795 while the $1,995 Harmon Kardon Audio Group adds 19 premium speakers with a subwoofer and a Green Edge amplifier system. Also, for $1,595, buyers can add a long list of gadgets including adaptive cruise control, advanced brake assist, automatic high beam control, blind spot detection, forward collision warning, lane departure warning, power tilt/telescoping steering column, power heated mirrors with memory and rain sensing windshield wipers.

Finally, there are a handful of standalone options for the 2015 Dodge Charger SRT 392, including the power sunroof for $1,195, a black painted roof for $1,500, an engine block heater for $95 and summer performance tires for $195.

If you build a fully loaded Charger SRT 392 on, picking every possible option lifts the MSRP of the 485hp sedan to $57,250. In other words, you can get all of the goodies that you find in the Hellcat Charger – minus the 707 horsepower supercharged engine – for some $6,700 less.
