2015 Challenger Shaker status

by Patrick Rall on

Back in mid-February, prospective buyers could finally order the 2015 Dodge Challenger Shaker package. Today, we have our first report of the new Shaker cars arriving at dealerships. This gives buyers the chance to check out the Mopar muscle car with the unique intake system in person before putting money down.

While the Shaker hood package will eventually be offered with 2015 Dodge Challenger in both R/T and R/T Scat Pack form, so the classic induction system comes mated to either the 5.7L or the 6.4L Hemi V8.

So far, only the R/T Shaker is available on, so it makes sense that our first images of the 2015 Challenger Shaker are of a 5.7L R/T model with the 6-speed manual transmission.

This particular car is B5 Blue, with the unique black pocketed 20 inch wheels, the black grille, a stain black fuel filler door, a satin black rear spoiler, and Shaker graphics that come with the Shaker hood package. This Challenger R/T Shaker also comes with the standard goodies of the Super Track Pak like high performance steering, heavy duty brakes, sport suspension and performance tires.

While this 2015 Dodge Challenger R/T Shaker comes with the standard the ballistic cloth sport seats, those who want a little more luxury from their Shaker Challenger can opt for the R/T Plus Shaker, which adds leather and a high end infotainment package in addition to the standard features of every new Shaker Challenger.

This particular 2015 Dodge Challenger R/T Shaker is at Laurel Valley Motors in Latrobe, Pennsylvania; sales associate Bill Martz provided the details and pictures of this beautiful B5 Blue Mopar muscle car. It is not yet spoken for, so if you are in the area and you are looking for a 5.7L Hemi Challenger Shaker model, a stop at Laurel Valley Motors could be the answer to your Mopar prayers (buying it from Mr. Martz would be a good thank-you for sharing the photos).

This is just one of the many dealerships around the country taking delivery of their Shaker models now.

Thanks to Bill Martz of Laurel Valley Motors for the pictures and information on the first Shaker Challenger to hit the mid-Pennsylvania area.
