Auction: antique Mopar barn finds

by David Zatz on

dodge-brosOn April 25, Estate of Mind will be auctioning a variety of “barn finds” from the estate of Dodge Brothers Club members Richard “Dick” Perry & his father Carlton Perry. They will be holding the auction in Middletown, New York, according to an email we received yesterday.

Those looking for a true Dodge Brothers car will find two 1915 sedans, a 1917 pickup, and 1922 convertible. There are also a pair of Dodges from just after the Chrysler buyout, a 1938 Plymouth, 1941 Chrysler New Yorker, 1954 Plymouth Savoy, and 1971 Dodge Dart in rather poor condition. Those seeking muscle cars will find a 1966 Dodge Charger big block, 1972 Plymouth Duster, and 1969 Corvette Stingray 427.

Those seeking something more exotic can find a 1954 Kaiser Darrin (only 435 were ever made) and a 1953 Kaiser Dragon; numerous other American cars are being sold, along with a variety of foreign cars (1979 Mazda RX-7, 1986 Alfa Romeo Spider, and others), along with one motorcycle and various parts for the older cars.  See the Estate of Mind web page for details.
