Mopar’s New Bolt-On Charger Kit

by David Zatz on

For years, Mopar has issued limited-edition cars under their own brand name. Now, the “aftermarket” performance division of Chrysler is issuing its own limited edition performance/appearance kit for the 2015 Dodge Charger R/T.

There are only 50 kits available, with ordering open for the $3,550 package. Delivery is to begin in early June.

The street-legal performance package includes the Scat Pack Performance Stage Kit 1, a front strut tower brace with caps, and bright pedal kit. The Scat Pack 1 package adds 18 horsepower and 18 lb.-ft. of torque by using a Mopar Performance cat-back exhaust, cold-air intake, Stage 1 premium fuel powertrain control module, and high-flow oil filter.

The package comes with Scat Pack 1 badges, door sill entry guards,   matte black Mopar ’15 body-side graphics, and a Mopar ’15 serialized badge for the dash; along with a certificate of authenticity, brochure, replica vintage Scat Pack poster, Mopar Performance fender badge, and a magnetic mechanic’s tray. The kit comes in a branded and numbered Mopar ’15 crate.
