Ram Rebel Started Production Today

by David Zatz on

The Ram 1500 Rebel started production at the Warren Truck Assembly Plant in Michigan today. The plant has over 4,000 employees.

The Ram 1500 Rebel has a blacked-out grille, billet silver “RAM” badge, large RAM letters on the tailgate, an increased ride height, and standard 33-inch tires, skid plates, tow hooks, and unique  interior. It starts at $42,790.

Operating with three crews, the Warren Truck Assembly Plant built the only consecutive winners of the Motor Trend Truck of the Year: the 2013 Ram 1500 and 2014 Ram 1500 EcoDiesel.  The plant has produced more than 12.5 million trucks since its operations began in 1938.
