Minivan Spotted in Desert

by David Zatz on

What appears to be the next Chrysler minivan has now been spotted in the desert by Allpar reader Sydric, in 107° Fahrenheit heat.

As it was in Pennsylvania, this minivan was pulling a trailer. It was part of a caravan of vehicles, and part of the grille can be seen — though it may be a mockup or misleading part rather than the final grille, which is expected to resemble that of the Chrysler 200.

The next generation minivans will have a plug-in hybrid-electric system, according to FCA’s chief executive; insiders say it will have the 3.6 liter engine and nine-speed automatic, along with every other new V6 FCA US vehicle aside from the Cherokee (3.2 V6) and some export models (3.0 V6).
