Chrysler 200 recall

by David Zatz on

FCA US is recalling over 80,000 Chrysler 200s because an electrical connector may have been damaged in testing by a supplier. The company said it was unaware of any injuries or accidents, and that the condition could cause stalling or the transmission to go into neutral, but would not affect the airbags.

Customers will be notified when they can schedule a free repair. It seems likely that most customers will only have their connectors inspected, while others will have them replaced.
