805 hp Hellcat X: video

by David Zatz on

Some time ago, Allpar covered the creation of the one-of-a-kind Dodge Challenger Hellcat X, a car created for a charity raffle. Today, we have a video provided by the group that build it.

The 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat, as modified to become the “X,” and a custom 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T, are part of the 2015 Dream Giveaway. In its seventh year, the program raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for charitable groups from veteran’s to children’s charities. The 2015 program also has two Corvettes and two Mustangs.

Walsh Motorsports fitted up a Hellion Power Systems twin turbo setup, which added a pair of 62mm turbos under the car, just behind the engine. This twin-charging system lifts the output to 805 horsepower and 800lb-ft of torque.

Aluminum accents were added to the three openings in the hood, around the front grille and on the lower rear diffuser, along with a new adjustable chin spoiler and rear deck lid spoiler to raise downforce at very high speeds.

To win the Hellcat X, one can buy tickets which start at $3 apiece, with quantity discounts.

Finally, we have a second video, from our first article on the Hellcat X.
