Red Rock real Wrangler for ’16

by David Zatz on

According to a Chrysler blog entry from Betty Newman, the Wrangler Red Rock concept from SEMA will actually enter production after joining the Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah. The Wrangler Hard Rock-based concept is a tribute to the Red Rock 4-Wheelers club.

The Red Rock concept has next-generation Dana 44 solid front and rear axles, a power dome vented hood, new off-road rock rails, thick front and rear red tow hooks, a two-inch lift kit, and 35-inch BFG K02 all-terrain tires.  The company had also made a Red Rock Responder concept for Moab earlier this year.

A production model will have “some of the same content” as the content, and is slated for 2016 production. Some add-ons will be sold by Mopar.
