Palmer gets a new role

Richard Palmer will become the Chief Operating Officer for Systems and Castings, reporting directly to Sergio Marchionne, on January 1; he will remain the Chief Financial Officer and a member of the Group Executive Council for Fiat Chrysler Automobiles. He is replacing Riccardo Tarantini, who is retiring after over 35 years.

Ritratto Dott Palmer

Mr. Palmer started as a member of Price Waterhouse Coopers’ audit team, then moved to United Technologies and General Electric Oil & Gas. He joined Comau in 2003 and moved up the chain from there. He has a BS in microbiology from the University of Warwick and is a chartered accountant.
