2017 minivan: Chrysler Pacifica (it’s official)

by David Zatz on

First photos of the next-generation Chrysler minivans have been released, along with its name: Chrysler Pacifica.

The Pacifica name was used in the 2000s for a crossover based on the company minivans, and was based on the company’s now-closed West Coast design studio, where the LH series was created.

The Pacifica has a 200-like appearance, predicted by several sources well ahead of pilot production, and a greatly upgraded interior, even on base models. The feature list appears to include an in-car vacuum, HID headlamps, ten-inch second-row screens, parking assistance, all the safety gizmos Chrysler has, and, as predicted by Allpar, new folding/stowing seats and better side doors.
