2017 Pacifica is in production

by David Zatz on

The long-awaited 2017 Chrysler Pacifica minivan is now in production, according to a brief press release. It is due to reach dealers in the spring of this year.

The Windsor plant will likely ramp up production slowly, in order to avoid quality gaffes; sales will be preserved by continued sale of the current Dodge Caravan, which is slated to last through the end of next year as a value leader.

The Pacifica is to be sold as both a traditional V6 model and as a hybrid with an estimated rating of 80 MPGe in the city.
